In Qatar, were Shahrukh Khan or PM Modi rescued by former marines? Read the claim of a Pakistani expert.

Pakistan’s political analyst, Qamar Cheema, has once again praised PM Modi, stating that “India is a strong country.” He expressed doubt that Shahrukh Khan would have aided in the release of 8 former Indian marines from Qatar, asserting that India’s diplomacy is capable of handling such matters independently.

Recently, former Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy claimed that Shahrukh Khan played a role in freeing 8 former Indian sailors from Qatar. Pakistan’s expert Qamar Cheema has shared his perspective on this matter, highlighting that in 2022-23, the trade between India and Qatar amounted to 19 billion dollars, indicating strong bilateral relations between the two nations.

PM Modi arrived in Qatar on Thursday and reportedly extended his gratitude to Qatar’s Prime Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, for the release of the former Indian marines. All 8 former marines had been sentenced to death by a Qatari court. Qamar Cheema noted that Shahrukh Khan explicitly stated in a statement that he did not contribute to the release of the former marines from Qatar, emphasizing that India’s leaders are fully capable of handling such matters on their own.

Qamar Cheema suggested that Qatar’s release of the former Indian marines indicates favor towards PM Modi. He also mentioned the Hindu temple constructed in UAE, noting India’s cultural expansion globally. Cheema highlighted the worldwide popularity of Bollywood movies, which are enjoyed in various languages, including Pakistan and Afghanistan.
