film ‘Guntur Kaaram’ vs ‘Hanu Man’ has surpassed $1.6 million in box office collections on its second day in North America

According to Nirvana Cinemas, the distributors of the film, “Hanu Man” has surpassed $1.6 million in box office collections at the North American box office as of Saturday due to unprecedented demand and an increase in the number of shows.

According to industry tracker Aakashavaani, the film has already achieved the break-even point in overseas box office collections, grossing Rs 9.01 crore in its opening day. It is anticipated to generate a substantial revenue of $4 million to $5 million solely from North America, with an expected successful run for at least three weeks. The industry tracker, now referred to as X, stated on their former platform, Twitter, that the film had a sensational start, and the trade expects a minimum of $4 to $5 million from North America alone.

In addition to this, Hanu Man experienced a significant surge in its India box office earnings on Saturday. The movie garnered Rs 4.15 crore from Telugu screenings on Thursday, Rs 8.05 crore on its initial Friday, and is projected to have accumulated approximately Rs 12.50 crore on its first Saturday. As a result, the film’s total box office collection is estimated to have reached approximately Rs 24.70 crore within just two days of its premiere, as reported by film trade portal Sacnilk.

According to the film’s producers Haarika & Hassine Creations, Guntur Kaaram earned approximately Rs 94 crore at the global box office and over $2 million at the USA box office. The film also garnered around Rs 20 crore on its opening day at the overseas box office.

Despite receiving mixed reviews, Guntur Kaaram has still managed to surpass the Rs 50 crore mark at the Indian box office within just two days, even though its collections experienced a decline on Saturday. Some viewers have hailed the film as a blockbuster, while others criticize its lack of original storytelling elements.

On its opening day, the film grossed Rs 41.30 crore, and it is projected to have earned approximately Rs 13 crore on its second day, bringing the total box office revenue to Rs 54.30 crore.
