Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare’s wedding reception captures Aamir Khan with the entire family

Following their lavish Indian wedding in Udaipur, Ira Khan and her husband Nupur Shikhare have returned to Mumbai for their wedding reception.

Having orchestrated an extravagant Indian wedding for his daughter Ira Khan and her newly-wedded husband Nupur Shikare, actor Aamir Khan is now in Mumbai, preparing to host a wedding reception for his Bollywood peers and other notable guests. The event included a complete family portrait featuring Aamir Khan.

In a rare moment, Aamir Khan united with his entire family for a portrait at the reception held at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC). The ensemble featured the newlyweds, Aamir’s son and budding actor Junaid Khan, his first wife Reena Dutta, nephew Imran Khan, sister Nikhat Khan, son Azad Rao Khan, and Nupur’s family. Aamir, Junaid, and Nupur donned matching black bandhgalas, while Ira opted for a red-and-golden lehenga, and Imran chose a black tuxedo for the occasion.

Aamir shared with the paparazzi that his second wife and filmmaker Kiran Rao couldn’t attend the reception due to illness. Subsequently, he posed alongside the cast of his upcoming production and Kiran’s directorial venture, “Laapataa Ladies.”

Jaya Bachchan expresses frustration with paparazzi once more.

Veteran actor Jaya Bachchan maintained her usual demeanor, scolding the paparazzi not once but twice. Initially, she requested not to be directed at every moment and questioned a paparazzo with a firm “Who are you?” Later, she posed with her daughter Shweta Bachchan and actor Sonali Bendre at the reception. In contrast, Anil Kapoor displayed friendliness with the paparazzi, even inquiring why they seemed unusually quiet that day.

The reception saw a star-studded attendance, including Aamir’s Lagaan director Ashutosh Gowariker, Laal Singh Chaddha co-star Naga Chaitanya, Dil Chahta Hai director Farhan Akhtar (accompanied by wife and actor Shibani Dandekar), Dil Dhadakne Do director Zoya Akhtar, Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak co-star Juhi Chawla, Taare Zameen Par co-star Darsheel Safary, 3 Idiots co-star Sharman Joshi, along with actors Rekha, Dharmendra, Hema Malini, Esha Deol, Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia D’Souza, Dilip Joshi, Mithila Palkar, Gajraj Rao, Vipin Sharma, Gauhar Khan, Jaaved Jaffrey, Kiku Sharda, and Manoj Joshi. Also present were singer Sunidhi Chauhan, music composer AR Rahman, politician Raj Thackeray, and cricketers Sachin Tendulkar and Zaheer Khan (with wife and actor Sagarika Ghatge).
