Late-Night Puja Conducted In The Basement Of Gyanvapi Vyasji Tahkhana.

After 31 years, worship has resumed in the basement of Vyas ji within the Gyanvapi complex in Varanasi. This morning (February 1), a considerable crowd gathered in the basement to participate in the worship ceremony.

Following the verdict issued by the Varanasi District Court, worship commenced late at night in Vyasji Tahkhana of Gyanvapi. Amidst a significant police presence, the District Magistrate and other administrative officials, priests from the Kashi Vishwanath Trust conducted the puja in the basement.

After an interval of approximately 31 years, lamps were ignited, Aarti was conducted, and Prasad was distributed within the premises. Concurrently, a photo depicting Vyas Tahkhana emerged, portraying policemen alongside priests.

Late at night, in compliance with the District Judge’s directive, the police administration removed barricades and initiated the puja in the basement of Vyas ji within the Gyanvapi complex, amidst stringent security measures. An exclusive picture has been released, revealing the presence of numerous individuals, including priests, within the basement.

UP Police personnel, dressed in uniform, are also deployed, and pillars are visible all around.

Varanasi DM S Rajalingam provided updates regarding the puja conducted in the basement of Vyas ji. Upon emerging after the ceremony, he confirmed that the court’s order had been diligently adhered to.

As security measures have been heightened at the Gyanvapi complex and Kashi Vishwanath temple, a significant influx of devotees arrived at the Vyas basement of Gyanvapi this morning (February 1). They offered prayers and later expressed their joy after exiting the premises.
