Sachin Bishnoi has been placed in police custody in connection with the Sidhu Moosewala murder case. Sachin Bishnoi is in the custody of Punjab police until October 6 in connection with the alleged murder of Congress member and rapper Sidhu Moosewala.
Punjab police have obtained custody of gangster Sachin Bishnoi, who is suspected of being involved in the homicide of Congress member and rapper Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, also known as Sidhu Moosewala. He has been placed in police custody for a week, until October 6.
In August, a Special Cell of Delhi Police successfully extradited Bishoi from Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, where he had allegedly entered using a counterfeit passport. During the assassination of Moosewala in Mansa’s Jawaharke village on May 29, 2022, Bishoi is believed to have been overseas. Reports suggest that he was responsible for managing the logistics of Moosewala’s murder, and he falsely claimed responsibility for the killing to deceive authorities and investors, despite being outside of India at the time.
In addition to Sachin Bishnoi, who also goes by the alias Sachin Thapan, Vikramjeet Singh, known as Vikram Brar, was apprehended by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) following his deportation from the UAE in July of this year.
It’s worth mentioning that the Punjab police filed a chargesheet listing 34 individuals believed to have played a role in Moosewala’s murder. This chargesheet featured the names of incarcerated gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, along with Goldy Brar, Anmol Bishnoi, and Jaggu Bhagwanpuria, among others.
Sachin Bishnoi is one of the four individuals believed to have conspired in the murder of Moosewala, resulting in the issuance of a red corner notice against him. In an interview, he openly confessed to personally carrying out the shooting that led to Moosewala’s death as an act of vengeance. Bishnoi revealed that he committed the crime because Lawrence’s close friend and “his brother Vicky Middukhera” had been killed.
