Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister, Shweta, strongly criticizes Rhea Chakraborty

Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister, Shweta, strongly criticizes Rhea Chakraborty questioning how she will justify her actions to her own conscience. Following the tragic demise of Sushant Singh Rajput, Sushant’s father filed a case accusing Rhea Chakraborty of alleged involvement in abetment to suicide.

On Saturday, Shweta Singh Kirti, the sister of the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, posted a cryptic message on Instagram, seemingly criticizing Rhea Chakraborty for “placing blame on someone who has departed.” In a recent interview with India Today, Rhea discussed Sushant and his mental health.

Shweta writes a message about Sushant, subtly referencing Rhea.

Shweta shared a series of vintage photographs featuring Sushant interacting with children and fans. The final image was a close-up solo shot of Sushant, grinning. Alongside, she penned, “Pointing fingers at someone who’s no longer here to speak for themselves… I’m curious about the response your conscience will provide!”

She further stated, “My brother had a heart of gold, and his legacy lives on in the hearts of millions. We don’t find it necessary to speak out because the truth resonates with people. My brother was, is, and will forever remain our source of pride! The love he ignited in every heart will never fade away. We will continue to tirelessly pursue justice for him.” She concluded her message with the hashtags #JusticeForSushant and #SushantSinghRajput.

In her recent interview with India Today, Rhea Chakraborty commented, “Unfortunately, even today, if a man achieves success and then experiences a decline in his career after marriage, people tend to say, ‘Look, ever since she came into his life, his career went downhill.’ It’s as if the man had no identity prior to the woman. In India, men often don’t listen to their wives or girlfriends, and if they did, society would benefit. Sushant Singh Rajput had his own individuality. He hailed from a small town and made it big in Bollywood, which reflects a strong and independent mind. I want to make it clear that there is no such thing as black magic in this world.”

Rhea’s perspective on Sushant’s mental well-being

She also discussed the challenge of comprehending the mental health of individuals who possess fame and wealth. Rhea commented, “When someone with fame and money experiences depression, people often question, ‘Why would they feel that way?’ This lack of understanding is unsettling. Mental health is either not understood or slowly gaining recognition, making it hard for people to accept that even the rich and famous can suffer from mental health issues. I can’t personally know the reasons behind his actions because I wasn’t part of his daily life, contrary to popular belief. However, I can attest to his mental struggles and what he was going through. I hope for the truth to emerge, and the authorities are diligently conducting their investigations. In due time and in the right place, they will deliver their verdict.”

The events following Sushant’s passing

On June 14, 2020, Sushant was discovered deceased in his Mumbai residence. Following his demise, Sushant’s parents filed a case accusing Rhea of alleged abetment to suicide. Simultaneously, an investigation into her alleged involvement in drug procurement began, prompted by her WhatsApp conversations. Subsequently, the Bombay High Court granted her bail in the cases related to the drug probe associated with Sushant.
